The Association of Ghana Apparel Manufacturers (AGAM) was honored to participate in the ILO Women’s Leadership Training Programme, held from 28th to 30th July 2025, at Hillview Guest Center, Teiman.
This transformative initiative was designed to empower women entrepreneurs and leaders with the mindset, strategic tools, and confidence to build resilient and sustainable businesses.
Key themes explored included:

AGAM joined a powerful cohort of women from Ghana’s Shea sector, with valuable contributions from Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness & Industry (MoTAI), Ghana Employers’ Association (GEA), and Trade Union Congress (TUC)—creating a space for rich dialogue, practical learning, and collaborative growth.
As a national voice for Ghana’s apparel industry, AGAM remains committed to cultivating leadership, strengthening capacity, and advancing inclusive, industry-wide transformation.
