Empowering Ghana’s Apparel Industry: AGAM & ILO Lead Capacity Building for Sustainable Growth

The Association of Ghana Apparel Manufacturers (AGAM), in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO), hosted a dynamic 3-day Capacity Building Workshop at the Plush Royal Hotel in Frafraha, Accra, from 8th to 10th July, 2025.

Funded by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the workshop aimed to strengthen the operational capacity of the AGAM Secretariat and some selected members.

📊 Basic Accounting & Finance: Tools for smart budgeting, bookkeeping, and reporting

📁 Data Management: Leveraging digital records and analytics for informed decisions

📱 Social Media Management: Strengthening online presence and brand visibility

🤝 Partnership Management: Fostering strategic collaborations and stakeholder alignment

Participants engaged in interactive sessions, peer learning, and expert-led discussions designed to drive transformation at the Secretariat. Post-workshop mentorship and coaching will continue to ensure continuous improvement.
