National Coordinator

A responsive and versatile business management professional with 18+ years of experience in relationship management, operations, sales & marketing, communications and event management, in
the financial, media, state owned companies as well as private sectors. She has a proven ability to provide critical support in the development and implementation of business strategies to achieve
desired business results through a people and mutually beneficial stakeholder centered approach.

Over nearly four years whilst managing the Association’s secretariat, Nana has liaised with major agencies and developmental partners as well as the local counter parts to provide support in terms of
capacity building, market access, compliance and financing for members of the Association e.g. USAID,
WATIH DFID/JET, GIZ/AFAN & Invest for Jobs, ITC/Shetrade, GEA/Covid relief Grant, GSDF,
YEA/Textile & Garment, MOTI and GEPA etc. She has been a significant lead in acquisition of the AVE Chamber and Association Partnership program (by the German Federal Ministry for Economic
Cooperation and Development, implemented by the Foreign Trade Association of German Retailers.)
Nana continuous to be a key advocate in the formulation of a National Policy for the Textile and Garment
Sector; and to AfCFTA.

Prior to this period, she had contributed significantly to a financial institution’s success, including its public listing, acquisition of a commercial banking license, and corporate rebranding strategy. Whilst
supporting essential projects such as a leading wholly owned Ghanaian bank’s virtualization and branch expansion, including the construction of an Ultra-modern Head office and Car Park in Accra. Over her tenure with the said financial institution. She held key roles as a Management Committee(s) and Capital
Expenditure Committee member for about 15years. As part of her contribution to the growth of that organization and its profitability, Nana also pioneered the expansion of the said financial institution into
other regions and product and service offering.

As a social developer, Nana Poquah has been volunteering with a foundation to positively impact the lives of the under privileged or deprived whilst supporting the youth particularly females to develop soft skills and their talents for about 12 years. She also assists a hospital visitation team to support patients on admission particularly women (maternal care) and children. Family values are also important to her.Nana is married with three children.
